There’s not too much in today’s Morning Coffee post. I think the deals have slowed down a bit after the holidays, which is fine with me – I need the time to plan my Walgreens transactions for free Finish dishwasher detergent this week.
Today’s Toy Lightning Dealsat Amazon have already started. The last one is at 3 p.m. PST. Disclosure: I’m an Amazon affiliate, so any purchase you make after entering Amazon through a link on Chief Family Officer supports this site at no additional cost to you. Thank you!
I did notice in Saturday’s weekend edition that all of the office supply stores and at least some of the drugstores are doing a mid-year back-to-school sale. Staples has even more deals than I’d realized at first from the online preview – Common Sense with Money has the full list.
Which reminds me to remind you to consider getting extra papers this weekend for the great coupon inserts. There’s a Buy One Get One Free coupon for Stayfree that gets you 2 free packages at Walgreens or Rite Aid, a Buy One Get One Free Nivea Lip Care coupon that gets you 2 free products at Rite Aid, the $2.50 off Finish dishwasher detergent that gets you free detergent after Register Rewards at Walgreens, and a Buy One Get One Free coupon for a Reach toothbrush that can help get $1.01 in overage at Walgreens. Those are just the coupons that occur to me off the top of my head for this week’s deals, and no doubt there will be fabulous deals with this week’s coupons in the weeks to come. You can see a list of the weekly deals at any number of blogs, including Common Sense with Money and Tia’s Saving Cents.
Get 50 prints for 50 cents at Snapfish with code NEWYEAR50 (expires 1/7). You do have to pay for shipping, and if I’m understanding their pricing chart correctly, it will cost $1.48 for standard shipping. That works out to a total of $1.98, or 4 cents per print, which is an excellent price.
