While you’re at Amazon, you may want to try out their new payment method, Payphrase. They unveiled it a few weeks ago, but I paid it no mind because I generally like to let companies work out the kinks with new programs before I use them. However, Amazon really wants customers to try it: they’re offering 10% cash back on purchases made by December 31 using Payphrase. (Via Bargain Briana.)

It pays to keep an eye out for coupons in the store! Yesterday, I planned to pick up Pillsbury refrigerated holiday cookies to bake for a party, using the $1/2 coupon (it was in the 10/4 and 11/15 GM, 11/22 and 12/6 SS). However, when I went to pick up the packages, there was an automatic coupon machine (commonly referred to as a “blinkie”) spitting out $1.50/2 coupons. So, just by keeping my eyes open, I saved an extra 50 cents!
