  • Afternoon Coffee: Walgreens deals get even better

You may want to hold off on your Walgreens transactions for the week until Friday. I Heart Wags is reporting that there will a 15% off Friends & Family coupon available for that day only. The last two or three times there was a Friends & Family discount, the coupon was made available on the Walgreens web site so hopefully that will happen again. I had planned to go on Wednesday, but now I think I’ll wait until Friday. If you are spending $25 to get to the minimum for the $5 Holiday Register Rewards, then 15% is an extra $3.75. Last week, $25 minimum was before coupons, including store coupons, so hopefully that will remain the same this week as well.

    1. FYI!
The Holiday Rewards will only be issued on the 16th & 17th! The extra 15% off is not until the 18th. The two deals cannot be combined. Hope that helps!

    2. Chief Family Officer says:

@Meg – Where did you hear/read that? I don't see that on the ad itself.

    3. The ad stated only today and tomorrow and also when it printed it expired on the 20th so only four days so you might want to just go back in and use it right away.
