Morning Coffee: Hot Deal on Graco Nautilus

If you've been reading CFO for a while, you might recall that I had to buy new car seats in January after we were rear-ended, and that I eventually ended up with the Graco Nautilus - which I've been quite happy with over the last year. (Read my original review and an update.) I still don't love it the way I love the Britax Marathon, mostly because the strap is narrower and cheaper, and therefore twists more easily and has frayed ever so slightly at the edges. However, I'm more than satisfied with it, and plan to get two more Nautilus seats when Tyler outgrows the Marathon. We're not quite at that point yet, but if you're in the market for a Nautilus, now's a good time to buy: they're on sale for $135.99 at Amazon right now. (Via Baby Cheapskate.)

There's also a printable coupon for 40-cents off Softsoap Hand Soap (click on the link at the bottom right corner - registration and coupon printer software required).

And here's a printable coupon for $1.25 off Pillsbury Simply Refrigerated Peanut Butter Cookies.

RedPlum.com has a coupon for $5 off $25 purchase at Rite Aid.

The Experimental Mommy is giving away Aquafresh and Sensodyne Isoactive toothpastes. Ends 11/24.

The LA Times reports that you can now take classes with Nancy Silverton at Mozza (which she owns with Mario Batali; I've never eat at the Osteria, but the Pizzeria is maybe my favorite place in town). My heart races with excitement just thinking about the possibility, but at $150 a pop on a weekday evening, it's too inconvenient and expensive right now.

So A Blonde Walks Into A Review is giving away a $10 iTunes gift card. Ends 11/16.

Sense to Save reports that Ebates is offering new payment methods, including electronic bank transfer and a Visa prepaid card. However, I'm not seeing those options in my account so it may be in beta mode. (Read my Ebates review.)

Mommies Angels is giving away a $20 CVS gift card. Ends 11/30.

In case you've ever wondered how big the bonuses at Big Law firms are, here's what Cravath, Swaine & Moore is giving out this year (hint: $7,500 to $30,000). It might seem like a lot, but it's historically low as demonstrated in that post. However, 2009 has shown that the traditional law firm model doesn't work, so bonuses like these might be a thing of the past soon. Besides, any lawyer who's employed is generally just grateful to have a job at this point.

My Four Monkeys is giving away a $25 credit to Lemon Tree Cards. Ends 11/9.

You can claim your carseats in your accident report. They will cut you a check for the full purchase price of your original carseats. This just happened to my sister and they said they were required to do so because it is a matter of safety.

I must admit, the carseat deal sounded sweet...until I clicked over to the site, where they are listed at $135.99 each (a savings of $44 according to amazon).

I'm disappointed too--I am in the market for new carseats but see that the price went way up!

@Snippity1 & Gina - OMG, I'm so sorry! I don't know how that happened, I swear I made the link correctly. It's supposed to be $135.99, which is the best price I've seen on the Nautilus in the year since I started watching them. (I paid $170+ at Target for the first two - reimbursed by the insurance company - and $145 at Amazon for the two that are in my parents' car.) But I totally apologize for the error, I've fixed it now!
