If you've always wanted to write a novel, you should know that November is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. The goal is to start writing on November 1, and end the month with a 50,000 word novel. The philosophy is: "Valuing enthusiasm and perseverance over painstaking craft, NaNoWriMo is a novel-writing program for everyone who has thought fleetingly about writing a novel but has been scared away by the time and effort involved." There's definitely something to the "just do it" approach.

lol, that wouldn't be a free year of coke for me, that'd be a free month
Glad to know I'm not the only one unhappy with the Cooking Light.
@Carrie - LOL, you're absolutely right! That's less than 1 can/day.
@Lisa - Yeah, I'm not loving the new look at all. The content seems less substantial too ... I'm wondering if CL is going to get hit by the impending (rumored) cuts at Time Inc.
