Starting September 28, Smuckers will give away 80,000 Uncrustables sandwiches at Uncrustables.com - just register to submit an after school organization tip and receive a coupon for one free box of Smucker’s Uncrustables sandwiches (4-pack; max value: $3.00). These frozen PB&J sandwiches are incredibly convenient, and three of the varieties come on whole wheat bread. We got one for Alex at IKEA on a day that he wasn't feeling well and this was the only thing that sounded appealing to him. I was surprised that it really did have almost the exact taste and texture of a regular PB&J.
That series on the true basics of couponing and saving that I mentioned over the weekend will post next week. I've been so busy this week that I haven't had time to write so I'll need the weekend to finish the introductory post – it's a monster!
There's a $1 off Glad ForceFlex printable coupon available. (Firefox or IE)
A Full Cup user dollarsinthepocket is reporting that Target is accepting expired coupons in Minneapolis and possibly nationwide. I have a hard time believing it, but I'll ask the next time I'm at Target (which, after my last experience, may not be any time soon).
There's a $1 off Quaker Chewy Granola Bars printable coupon. The coupons in the newspaper inserts are usually $1 off 2, so this is a high value coupon for the product. Anon reports that the coupon is now printing out as $1 off 2. (Via A Thrifty Mom.)
Little Debbie has a new sweepstakes that includes giving away 1 million cupcakes – not all at once, of course. 125,000 people will win a coupon for a free box of Little Debbie Cupcakes. You'll also have the chance to win other prizes, like a Smart Car and a year's supply of cupcakes. (Via Freebies 4 Mom.)
Stretching a Buck is giving away a 6-month supply of Kroger Deluxe ice cream in the form of a $30 Kroger gift card. Ends 9/27.
You can rent a CFO (for your company, not your family!) to help you weather the current economic conditions. (Via Going Concern.)
Check out the 196th Festival of Frugality at Green Panda Treehouse. It includes my post on how I got $130 worth of groceries for free.

Earlier this year, I presented a recently expired coupon at Target, and they accepted it without a second glance. That said, I recently presented a coupon that expired 6 months ago, and they didn't take it. So while they're not super strict, I think they do have a cut off. I found the same thing to be true at CVS.
The quaker coupon is printing out 1/2, not 1/1.
@MM - Ooh, good to know. Thanks!
@Anon - Thanks for letting me know. I've edited the post.
Uncrustables on their website said they already gave out all "20,000" coupons, not 80k like you reported.
And I went on early !!!
I think its BS !!!
@Empress - The email I was sent from Smuckers said "80,000 sandwiches" - which works out to 20,000 coupons since the coupons are for a pack of 4. I'm sorry you didn't get in - this was a hot freebie that people were watching for like a hawk!
