Children’s Hooded Jackets with Drawstrings Recalled by Jason Evans Associates Due to Strangulation Hazard

As always, I highly recommend signing up for recall notifications by email at the CPSC web site.

    1. Just so your readers are aware, drawstring hoods are actually illegal for children in the US, and have been for several years. Apart from a few accidental self-strangulations there were also a few horrible accidents involving drawstrings and escalators, strollers, etc in the past. Many people do not seem to be aware of this, and buy these items for their kids assuming that if it is for sale it is safe!
