Good news: Walgreens gave me credit for this month's "extra" rebate items

As I mentioned before, Walgreens has added five rebate items for October. Last week, I bought the Nivea men's body wash and Lypsyl lip moisturizer, and when I checked tonight, I'd received credit for both items. When I entered the information from my receipt online last week, the only extra rebate that appeared in the checklist was the last one, so it's good to know that doesn't matter.

It also bodes well for the L'Oreal Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate, which is part of an awesome buy one, get another Revitalift item free deal this week. There were $2 off manufacturer coupons redeemable at Walgreens only in the Oct. 5 paper, and supposedly you can also use a coupon on the free item (there are lots of $1 off Revitalift coupons out there). And, the Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate is one of the "extra" rebate items carried over from last month. In sum, you'll get two free Revitalift items, plus $3 profit before taxes.
