A couple of years ago, I wrote about the Aerogarden after seeing an informercial. I thought it was brilliant - an aeroponics pot that allows you to grow a variety of plants without dirt and with very minimal care. I don't have a green thumb, but the idea of being able to grow my own food is extremely appealing. I probably would have ordered it on the spot, if it wasn't for the price: $199 at the time, now apparently $149.95. I realized that I'd have to grow a lot of veggies in order to recoup the cost, and I also wasn't sure where it could be in the house that the bright light that's on 16 hours per day wouldn't bother anyone.
That bright light is still a problem for me, and I'm just not cooking as much as I used to. (In fact, I spend my days dreaming about the day when I have enough time to really cook. A friend is coming over this weekend so we can celebrate her birthday and I'm making the appetizer, dinner and dessert in slow cookers (I had to borrow my mother-in-law's) because I just don't have the time to spend in the kitchen.)
But for those of you who would actually be able to use a garden full of herbs, lettuce, tomatoes and other plants, Amazon has the Aerogarden on sale today only for $119.99 plus free shipping.
The reviewsare mostly positive, though of course, you should definitely check out the negative ones.
If you're in the market for a stand mixer, you can pay just $224.99 for an onyx black 5-quart KitchenAid.If you prefer white, pay just $229.99 for the white version.
Full retail for both mixers is $349.99, so these seem to be pretty good deals.
Finally, there's something Unclutterer can mock on Unitasker Wednesdays: a quesadilla maker. It's only $16.99 but don't buy it. Just use a skillet and flip the quesadilla when the first side has browned a little.
Full disclosure: I'm an Amazon Associate, so if you make a purchase after entering Amazon through one of the above links, Amazon will give me a small percentage of your purchase price. Thanks!

I spotted that at Costco the other day. Not sure on the price as I don't have space for it, but worth checking.
Random sale price...saw the Aerogarden for $100 advertised for Macy's black friday sale. I can't say I'm not a little tempted ;-)
@MM - Oh man, now I'm tempted too. Best of all, first thing in the morning (7 a.m.), Macys isn't that crowded on Black Friday ...
