Last month, I asked for recommendations on the best handheld vacuum, and I got some extremely helpful responses. Since then, I've been keeping an eye out for a great deal, and Amazon has one today in their Friday sale: $29.99 for the Black and Decker CHV9600 9.6-Volt Cyclonic DustBuster.
I received positive comments about DustBusters, and the 9.6 gets good reviews, especially regarding suction. I particularly like that it comes with a crevice tool for narrow spots and a brush attachment for upholstery, since I'll be using this in our cars. I also like that it comes with free shipping :)
I'll write up a review of the DustBuster 9.6 after it arrives and I've used it for a while. I am really looking forward to getting it and cleaning up our cars!

Yes, please let us know. My problem with that type of gadget is that over time it stops holding a good charge and just doesn't work. I've gone through about 4 of them. I quit.
@blueviolet - I've had the same experience with such items not holding a charge, but if it works well for 2 years, I'll be satisfied. Not that I believe in disposable electronics, but I'm just desperate to get our cars clean!
Again, let us know--I'd be interested. I've never been too impressed with those hand held vacs.
