  • Chief Family Officer’s Third Anniversary Celebration: Giveaway #7 – Oliso Frisper Freshkeeper

I love to cook, and I’ve found that a vacuum sealer can really speed up my week night dinner-making by allowing me to prep veggies and other foods over the weekend for use later on in the week. For instance, this past week, I cut a head of cauliflower into bite-size florets on Sunday and sealed it up until Friday, when I roasted it and made Roasted Cauliflower and Sardine Pasta.

I want to make cooking easier for you, too. That’s why the final giveaway in Chief Family Officer’s Third Anniversary Celebration is an Oliso Frisper Freshkeeper ($99 value).

The Frisper Freshkeeper uses a type of zip-top bag, so it’s very easy to use. Simply put the food in the bag, seal it up, then vacuum the air out. You can see the Frisper Freshkeeper in action at the Oliso web site.

To enter, just leave a comment with your best kitchen tip. It doesn’t have to be about cooking, it just has to be kitchen-related.

For an extra chance to win, subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment telling me you have done so (or that you’re already subscribed).

And for a third chance to win, write about this giveaway on your own site, then leave me a separate comment with a link to your post. It’s important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment constitutes one entry.

The giveaway ends at 6:00 p.m. PDT on Saturday, June 14. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment.

The winner will be announced here on CFO. If I can easily locate the winner’s email address, I will also email the winner. The winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize; otherwise a new winner will be randomly selected.

One entry per type per person. Sorry, this giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.

    Good luck!

I always have cooked brown rice in the fridge for quick meals or a quick dessert (heat it up, add some cinnamon sugar and a little milk. The kids can’t get enough!)

    4. My best kitchen tip is to use Office Supply Butterfly Clips to keep bags (like chips or unfinished frozen vegetables) closed.
