Today's Reading: December 19, 2007

  • Practicing Simplified GTD at Lifehacker - I've heard so much about GTD that I've been intrigued, but not enough to go buy the book. I like Gina's methods, though, and am going to give them a try. Perfect for the new year!
  • Is Cheese Vegetarian? at Serious Eats - I'm no vegetarian, but this was a fascinating read.
  • What Football Teaches Us About Personal Finance at Blueprint for Financial Prosperity - A great post bringing together two of my favorite pastimes: personal finance and football!
  • Green Boot Camp Week One--Paper Recycling Habits at Suddenly Frugal - Becoming a mom has made me more environmentally conscious, so I look forward to becoming more green over the course of the next year through Leah's Green Boot Camp.
  • Kraft Paper Wrapped Gifts at Simply Green - I think this idea is so clever, and I don't think it's just because I have a roll of white paper and old packages of dot stickers that I'd love to use up.
Finally, because I can't be the only person whose all-time favorite video game is Tetris, I want to recommend the Mini Tetris Cubeas a very affordable stocking stuffer ($6.99 at Amazon). I got mine as a Hanukkah gift and it's a lot more challenging that I thought it would be, but I'm loving it!
