My favorite author, Madeleine L'Engle, once said that although a writer writes for herself, she also desperately wants her work to be read.
One of the things I am most grateful for this year is this blog. I love writing it, so I thank you for reading it. Have a wonderful day!

Hi! I'm thankful for your blog also. I'm a grandmother in southwest Arkansas. I ran across your blog in the carnival of recipes. I read it pretty often. I have 8 grandchildren, but 2 are still young. I have used alot of your sites and advice on the babys. I wish my daughter in law could read your site everyday. She could learn alot. She had depression after having both of her boys, and went through alot of troubles. My son and her split up after the first one and she gave up the boy to him, then after the second one she had to be hospitalized. They have alot of money troubles, only because she does not know how to quit spending. I love her though and wish she would listen to advice, and would really benifit from your blog. Keep up the good work. When I find something that really helps I copy it for her. I really enjoyed the coloring pages and so did the 5 year old!
Thank you so much - you made my day! I'm very sorry your daughter-in-law has a rough time of things, and hope that she will come around soon. Thanks again for reading, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Madeleine L'Engle was one of my favorites, I really loved those books.
Flexo - Are you referring to the Wrinkle in Time trilogy? If you still read kids' books like I do, you might enjoy the Vicky Austin series (I like the later ones better, especially A Ring of Endless Light and Troubling a Star) and Polly O'Keefe stories (Meg Murry's daughter - An Acceptable Time is one of my all-time favorite books).
Madeleine L'Engle has also written some wonderful books for adults, both fiction and nonfiction,(The Crosswicks Trilogy is wonderful). Most, if not all, of the nonfiction tends to be about Christianity.
