Get Inspired! (To Reduce Your Debt)

Sometimes it's hard having debt and finding the motivation to pay it all off, even if we know it's in our best interests. One easy way to keep your motivation up is a little bit of web surfing (which doesn't cost an extra penny!). The weekly Carnival of Debt Reduction is a good place to start. About five years ago, when I really took responsibility for my finances, I loved the inspiration I got from reading the personal "I did it!" stories on The Dollar Stretcher, like this one and this one (a quick Google search just now led me to more personal stories here). So if you feel like you need an extra push to stay motivated, sit in front of your computer for a few minutes and remind yourself why this is important to you and that you can pay off your debts!
